About Me

I am a clinical psychologist and have been in private practice since 2016. I received my doctorate from the Wright Institute in Berkeley and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Women’s Mental Health through the Department of Psychiatry at California Pacific Medical Center.

Much of my training and experience has centered on supporting individuals and couples through pregnancy and postpartum mood changes, miscarriage, stillbirth, TMFR and other forms of pregnancy loss, fertility challenges, and breast or gynecologic cancer. I have worked extensively with individuals and couples who have lost an infant. I also enjoy working with college and graduate students as they navigate emotional, relational, and academic concerns, and I have significant experience supporting young adults who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

My Approach

My style is warm and collaborative, and I approach therapy sessions with empathy, curiosity, and practical support. I work to create a space where you feel recognized, understood, and safe enough to explore the experiences that you need help with.

Therapy can offer a place to slow down and make sense of what has been hard to put into words or carry on your own. You may be dealing with worry or sadness that has been difficult to shake, overwhelm following a recent medical diagnosis, grief after a significant loss, or uncertainty regarding your path in school or work. Or perhaps you’re noticing patterns that leave you hurt, confused, or unfulfilled, or have a growing sense that you want something different for yourself. Together, we’ll take a closer look at these patterns, clarify what you’d like to change and what feeling better would mean in your life, and develop goals for our work together that can help those changes begin to take shape.

I also provide couples therapy for partners who feel caught in painful cycles that have become hard to shift. This might look like recurring conflict or misunderstanding, ongoing frustration and resentment, or feeling disconnected after the birth of your baby. Couples therapy can offer a steadier space to understand what is happening between you and your partner, and begin finding new ways to communicate, respond to conflict, and feel more connected.
