About Me

I am psychotherapist and clinical health psychologist. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, and have had an active private practice since 2016. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship in Women’s Mental Health at a community OB/Gyn clinic through the Department of Psychiatry at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). My experience focused on helping women experiencing perinatal mood changes, grief from pregnancy loss, fertility challenges, and those who have been diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer.

Clinical Training

I have extensive training and experience providing psychological services to individuals diagnosed with breast and gynecologic cancer. I am also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at CPMC and supervise Health Psychology Interns and Women’s Mental Health Post-Doctoral Fellows.

My Approach

My style is warm and collaborative, and I approach therapy sessions with empathy, curiosity, and practical support. I work to create a space where you feel recognized, understood, and safe enough to explore the experiences that you (Or you and your partner) need help with.

You might be considering therapy because you're overwhelmed with recent stressors, grappling with a loss, or notice long-standing patterns in your behaviors or relationships that feel confusing or painful. I aim to help you explore and understand where these patterns come from, what they mean, and how they might be impacting your quality of life. We can use this insight to clarify the changes you might like to see in your life and identity goals that move you in that direction. Together, we can better understand your mind so that you can develop a sense of possibility that life can be experienced in new and perhaps unexpected ways.
